The fastener (1) has a curved section (2) for engaging with a roof tile, and an anchor section (7) for securing to a lath in a roof frame. Independent claims are also included for (a) a method of making the fastener, by cutting a wire and bending it to form the curved and anchor sections, (b) a second fastener, (c) an assembly containing both types of fastener, and (c) a roof that has been tiled using these fasteners.
