Abstract

Door lock with a case-shaped lock housing 1, which is provided with a face plate 3, belonging to which is a hook bolt 4; 5, 6, which can be displaced between a locking and release position by means of the lock key 11, which hook bolt is arranged to interact with a striker plate 17 in a door frame 16, so that the hook bolt in its locking position is shot through an opening 17a in the striker plate and its hook part 6 is turned against an inner surface 17c of the striker plate. The hook bolt 4; 5, 6 inside the lock housing comprises a linearly displaceable guide part 5 and at its end a pivotally supported separate hook part 6, which is designed with a projection 6b, which close to the projecting limit position of the hook part 4; 5, 6 is arranged to interact with an inner surface 1a of the lock housing or the face plate, so that the said inner surface 1a produces the said turning of the hook part 6 when the hook bolt 4; 5, 6 is shot into the locking position. The hook part 6 is moreover dimensioned so that in its fully projecting locking position it covers the major part of the striker plate opening 17a in the longitudinal direction of the door frame 16, thereby preventing the door 2 from being forced off its hinges. <IMAGE>
