Abstract

The fastener (4) from which the cyclone is hung is joined to at least part of the cyclone cover (2) and the exit pipe (3) connected to it. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The cyclone is hung vertically and comprises a cyclone body (1) with a cover at one end, leading off from which is an exit pipe. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - PREFERRED FEATURES : The fastener is ring-shaped. The cyclone periodically has hot flue gases from a burner chamber passing through it, and is preferably incorporated into a pressurised fluidised bed combustion (PFBC) plant.
