Abstract

The undercarriage (10) comprises front and rear wheel units (14, 16), each comprising two arms (182, 222) and two wheels (202, 242), and two or more levelling devices (261, 262) extending at right angles to the parallel wheel unit arms, each comprising an outer section (281, 282) rigidly secured to the front wheel unit and a central section joined to the back wheel unit. An articulated joint is present between the outer and central sections to ensure that all of the wheels remain in contact with the floor, even if it is uneven.
