Abstract

The method involves programming in a memory a call priority for several hand-held receivers, the receivers forming part of respective cordless telephone. The memory consists of a ROM for software programmes and a RAM. Ringing tones are generated by the receivers in a consecutive order during a predetermined time based on the call priority. A communication path is set-up between the telephone line and the receiver which is used to answer the call.
