Abstract

The two hinge parts are fixed to the door and a partition wall for the storage space, and pivot about a single hinge axle level with or above the door. The hinge mechanism (3) comprises a first part (8) fixed to the door (2), and a second part (9) fixed to a partition wall (11) between the storage space (6) and a separate baggage space (7). Both parts are pivotable about the same hinge axle (10), which lies level with or above the plane of the door.
