Abstract

A strip with a drip nose is fitted to the bottom edge of the door leaf on its rear side to guide air leaving the gap between the doorstep and door leaf towards the floor. An air gap (2) is formed between the door leaf (1) and doorstep (3) when the door is closed. A strip with a drip nose (4) is provided along the bottom edge of the door leaf on its rear side, the drip nose extending into the wet region and protruding beyond the doorstep in a downwards direction towards the floor (6). The drip nose thus creates an air gap with an exit (A-B) extending at an angle less than 90 degrees to the floor surface, so that air entering the wet region is guided towards the floor.
