Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for hollow grinding the teeth on circular saw blades preferably saw bades for brush saws. This is achieved according to the invention by means of the arrangement of an apparatus co-operating with a grinding machine (2) having a vertically adjustable grinding disc (20) which apparatus comprises a suspension means in the form of a cradle constituted by a longitudinal bar (3) having end portions (4, 5) perpendicular to the bar and being journalled in a frame (6, 8, 9) belonging to the support in such a way that the axial line (24) defined by the bearings of the cradle (25, 26) is arranged perpendicular to the plane defined by the grinding disc (20) in which cradle the saw blade (12) is intended to be mounted on a shaft pivot (11) slidably arranged on or close to the axial line (24) and by means of the displacement of which shaft pivot the teeth of the saw blade (12) could be brought to a grinding position defined by a pawl (19) arranged on the cradle in which grinding position the tooth to be ground is positioned at or close to the axial line (24). By means of pivoting the cradle around the axial line (24) the apparatus could be adjusted for grinding of teeth having right and left settings respectively.
