Abstract

Method in a telecommunication network where a subscriber calls a freephone number which is recognised at the local exchange and forwarded/connected to the SSP of the transit exchange. The call is detected as an IN-call; when the SCP detects that this is a call to the ACD-service, a welcome message and a menu is played, on receipt of the keying of the customer the call is momentarily parked and by means of an SCP2, the call is identified as a call to a customer ACD and a distribution to the right answering group is executed according to one or more alternatives, e.g. reception area, time/date, customer identification.
