Abstract
The device (1) comprises a tubular air flow channel (2), with a radius R, an air transporting fan (3), a precipitator (4), a high voltage source (5) and an ionisation electrode (6). The precipitator has two electrodes, which are band like strips, that are wound around a bobbin body and are connected to the high voltage source. - The air-flow channel has a similar cross section to the precipitator which is arranged downstream of the fan in the air flow channel. The ionisation electrode is also connected to the high voltage source and is mounted outside the air flow channel, in connection with its mouth, so that the ions may migrate in the space where the air cleaning device is mounted.
