Abstract

A wiper arrangement comprises two conventional wipers (6) with wiper blades (3). The two wipers are pivotably mounted to an intermediate frame (1) and the frame carries a motor driven brush in the form of an endless brush belt (2) or a brush roll (13, 16). In both cases, the brush extends the whole length between the wipers. The motor (7) moves the brush belt or rotates the brush roll so that the speed of the bristles against the windshield (5) is at least five times the speed of the tips of the wiper blades.
