Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the radiation direction of an electromagnetic wave without changing the installation direction by providing a feeding selection operation section controlling feeding to each of plural directivity antennas to emit an electromagnetic wave in different directions. SOLUTION: The equipment is made up of directivity antennas 1, 2 emitting an electromagnetic wave in a direction B of an installation face of a handset 4 and an opposite direction A respectively and a feeding selection operation section 3 controlling the feeding to the directivity antennas 1, 2. When the feeding selection operation section 3 feeds only the directivity antenna 1, an output signal from a radio section emits an electromagnetic wave from the directivity antenna 1 in the direction A only. On the other hand, when the feeding selection operation section 3 feeds only the directivity antenna 2, an output signal from the radio section emits an electromagnetic wave from the directivity antenna 2 in the direction B only. When the feeding selection operation section 3 feeds both the directivity antennas 1, 2, an output signal from the radio section emits an electromagnetic wave in the directions A, B.
