Abstract

The unit (3) inside the vehicle is activatable by a person also inside the vehicle and comprises inter alia a keyboard with letter keys. With the aid of these letter keys a text can be passed, via a control unit, to the display unit (2) outside the vehicle. The display unit is fixed or fixable to the roof part (4a) of the vehicle (4) via a bar (5), rotatably orientated in relation to the vehicle roof part. The rotary movement of the bar (5) is stoppable in two angle-orientated positions. One position is where the display unit vertical plane (2') is orientated in or is parallel to a vehicle longitudinally orientated centrally related vertical plane (4'). A second position is at right-angles to the first. The bar (5) supports at its uppermost part the display unit (2) and in its lowermost part the activating unit (3).
