Abstract

An infusion device comprises a needle (13), catheter unit (11) and a valve (12). At least two connections (17, 18) for supplying a liquid are provided in the device. A membrane (20) is used to seal one of these connections. The valve is designed so that in a first position the needle passes through it, the first connection (17) and the membrane, whilst in a second position with the needle removed it blocks this first connection.
