Abstract

The bolt (1) connects two components (15,16), and has a separating charge which can be initiated electrically, and which is arranged in an axial recess. It also has at least one predetermined breaking point (14), so that after initiation it separates into two parts which are arranged axially one behind the other. The separating charge is a detonator (5), and the breaking points may be arranged so that the detonation forces the lower end (19) of the head (20) to engage in a corresponding recess (13) in one surrounding component (15), so that it remains connected in the manner of a rivet after the detonation. The breaking point may also be arranged on the side wall of the recess in which the detonator is located.
