Abstract

The invention concerns a device and a method for measuring the resilience in an area (16) of an object (30). The device comprises an oscillation source, a first transmission means (14) for transmission of an oscillation movement from the source of oscillation to the area (16), and a measuring means for measuring the oscillation movement damping caused by said area (16). The method comprises the steps of providing an oscillation movement of the area (16) and by measuring the oscillation movement damping caused by said area (16).
