Abstract

The present invention is for a force machine intended to obtain a to and fro motion, the machine being especially useful for pumping of gases and liquids in various applications. The object of the invention is to obtain a device of the above-mentioned kind which with high efficiency converts the supplied energy into the decided movements. The force machine shown in the figure has two membranes (19, 20) to each of which there is a corresponding stator (2, 9) shaped as a grid, a thin plate or the like made from electrically conductive material. The two membranes (19, 20) are parallel to each other and connected by a firm, hard or stiff mounting material (6) which has a very low weight per volume.
