Abstract

Entrance and exit control system, including units having card readers and/or keypads for control of authorization to enter or exit. According to the invention, same includes one or a number of subcenters (UC) communicating with each other, each one communicating with one or a number of door terminals (DT) and/or complementary terminals (KT) comprising at least connections for card readers and/or keypads, and connections for electrical control of a door lock. Subcenters (UC) included in the system are with an interface for connection of computers (PC), modem, printer or any other peripheral equipment, each such unit having possibility to submit or collect data with regard to a subcenter (UC), arranged to facilitate submission/collection of data only with regard to predetermined door terminals (DT) and/or complementary terminals (KT). Each subcenter (UC) includes storage means for storage of information relating to authority, system partitioning, time schedules, use and similar, stored information being "mirrored" by storage in at least one further subcenter (UC) included in the system, or by information stored on a primary storage means being "mirrored" by storage on at least one further storage means included in the subcenter (UC). Door terminals (DT) included in the system are preferably arranged with a connection for one or a number of burglary alarm sensors, which are under surveillance by the subcenters (UC) of the system.
