Abstract

The table construction (30) comprises a bottom stand (32), with a floor standing base, a top stand (33) adapted to carry a table top (31), a resilient pneumatic and hydraulic operated weight balanced stand related arrangement used to raise and lower the top stand in relation to the bottom stand and a latching device. - A weight balanced arrangement (40,40a), built into each of the two support legs, comprises at least two parallel mounted resilient gas springs each having a floating piston separating a pneumatic space from a hydraulic space in a common system. The desired change in force required to move the table top section in relation to the bottom stand is achieved by increasing or decreasing the pressure in the hydraulic space.
