Abstract

A reaming tool for rock drilling comprises rotatable cutters (2) carried by legs (3), and a stabilizing portion which is provided to guide and to stabilize the tool in a hole drilled by the cutters and which to this end includes external wear means (8). The body is divided into two mutually releaseable, joined portions, namely a rear sleeve like portion (9) on which the wear means (8) are applied and a forward, ring like portion (10) on which the legs (3) of the cutter are provided. A number of flush medium channels (21) which communicate with a central flush medium channel in the sleeve portion (9) are provided in the ring portion (10), radially distant from a central opening (17) for the pilot rod (5). Besides the reaming tool itself the invention also relates to an exchangeable device therefor.
