Abstract

The light filter is an optical interference filter which is applied on a correction glass. Its transmission for blue light is in the interval 2% to 20% and is suitable for providing improved contrast vision without colour vision being completely lost. - The light filter, which forms part of a series of light filters with, in accordance with a logarithmically increasing scale, varied transmission for blue light, and is combined to cause a transmission curve for an eye to evolve. The suitable transmission curve is used as a prescription for producing an individually adjusted correction device.
