Abstract

The retainer for the handle (10) has at least one peg (12) and a recess in which the peg can turn. The handle can adopt a carrying position and a folded-down position. In the latter position, the rotational axis of the peg is nearer the centre of gravity of the container than in the carrying position. In the carrying position, the peg's rotational axis coincides with the centre of a first arc of the recess. In the folded-down position, it coincides with the centre of a second arc, the two centres being separate. The peg has a circular section and a shoulder which has a triangular profile.
