Abstract

The bottle feeder (1) comprises a grouping station (4), in which all bottles are grouped in a pattern suited to the holes of the support grips. The support grip feeder (5) has an alignment unit for receiving and aligning the support grips and then moving them to a grip position for transfer to the robot device gripper unit. The robot device has a control unit for moving its gripper unit from a grip position to a fitting position (18) and after fitting the support grips on the bottles for moving the equipped bottles to a position (11) in which they are placed on transport trays. The support grip alignment unit has at least two alignment pins for engagement with corresp. holes in each support grip.
