Abstract

The thigh bone part at its end edge at the greatest distance from the bed bottom foot end is pivotably connected to the body around an axis at right-angles to the bed longitudinal direction and located in the plane of the bed bottom. The lower leg part (32) on its end edge located at the greatest distance from the foot end is pivotably connected to the end edge of the thigh bone part (30) located nearest the foot end around an axis at right-angles to the bed longitudinal direction and parallel with the plane of the bed bottom. Supported by the body is a positioning part which has a drive component connected to the leg support part for adjustment of the support parts in required pivoting positions. The drive component can be moved parallel with the bed bottom plane and is connected to the thigh bone part by means of a link arrangement (62,64) which under the effect from the drive component pivots the thigh bone part to the required angle position relative to the bed bottom plane around the axis via which the thigh bone part is pivotably connected to the body.
