Abstract

In a pressure fluid system comprising at least one working unit (14), a method of pressuring or urging the piston rod (14b) of the working unit towards an element with varying power to achieve an instantaneous increase in fluid flow to the piston rod and therewith achieve quick piston-rod engagement with the element and thereupon automatic transition to a lower speed with greater power during the actual working stroke, wherein the system pressure conduit (13) in addition to being connected to the plus side (14d) of the working cylinder or cylinders (14) is also connected via a throttle-check valve (6) to the minus side (4c) of an accumulator cylinder (4), and wherein the plus side of the accumulator cylinder is connected via a selector valve (3) to the plus side (14d) of the working unit to initiate a working stroke, and to the minus side (14c) of the working unit to return the working piston or pistons. The connection to the plus side (14d) of the working piston is effected via a check valve (5). The invention also relates to a pressure fluid system that operates in accordance with the method.
