Abstract

The device incorporates a basic cassette (7), a cutter holder (9) which supports a cutter of suitable hard material and a superimposed part (10). The basic cassette incorporates a recess (8) to accommodate the cutter holder and the superimposed part. The cutter holder is formed with an upwardly extending cutter bearer part (12) of circular segment-shaped cross-section, which fits into a corresp. recess (11) in the superimposed part. The cutter holder has a shaft part (15) which can be pivoted at right-angles to its longitudinal direction, fine-adjusting the angle between the operative cutting edge and the workpiece longitudinal direction.
