Abstract

The condenser (12) is completed with a partially water-filled buffer (1) in which steam is fed through a distribution chamber (6,7) downwards to outflow openings (8) located at different depths under the water surface (10). The areas of the openings are so adapted that implosion of steam bubbles is avoided.
