Abstract

A modularly constructed storage box for documents and the like comprises at least two side walls (10), a back piece (12) and dividing sheets (14). The side walls (10) have a number of parallel, longitudinal dividing grooves (24) which are open at both groove ends, an expansion groove (25) and an expansion tongue (30). The back piece has a number of pins which are insertable in the open ends of the dividing grooves of a side wall (10). The side walls (10) are connected at one end by means of the back piece (12) and longitudinally by means of a dividing sheet (14). The dividing sheet (14) can at any time be freely moved to other dividing grooves (24) and in this manner the compartment size can be varied. The storage box can be expanded vertically and laterally by the slidable addition of further side walls (10), dividing sheets (14) and back pieces (12).
