Abstract

The appts. connects the ends of cable trays formed from a series of transverse U-shaped wires joined by longitudinal wires. It has two parts (8, 10) between which the wires of the trays are sandwiched. One of the parts has contact surfaces (18, 20), which define two parallel recesses for the transverse wires at the end of each tray. The other part (10) presses the wires into the grooves. The surfaces at the side of the recess which have the greater distance from each other are at right angles to the base (12) of the recess, whilst the other two form an obtuse angle.
