Abstract

A fluid mixing apparatus for first and second fluids has a housing (1) with a flow chamber (39) for the second fluid with a flow restrictor (6) in the flow chamber (39). There are gaps (15,16) between the flow restrictor member (6) and the facing walls (5,10) of the chamber (39). The restrictor (6) and housing (1) are essentially wedge shaped in a plane transverse to the second fluid flow direction (31). Means (18) for introducing the first fluid into the flow chamber (39) are disposed in the walls (5,10) in the region of gaps (15,16).
