Abstract

Method for the removal of an extended, flexible filter sleeve with a minimal effect on the surrounding environment - by clasping the filter with a tight hose of suitably flexible material and then simultaneously removing the filter in essentially the same direction as that in which the hose around the filter is being pulled out. Also claimed is a device for carrying out the method, comprising a gathering body for removing the filter in the same direction as the hose and then simultaneously collecting and compressing the hose and filter.
