Abstract
The invention relates to an arrangement for a recovery boiler whose flue gas is cooled, inter alia, with the aid of a pipe system (8) through which water flows, a so-called economizer. The arrangement is characterized in that the cooling in the economizer is designed in two stages (14, 16) with the flue gases flowing along the pipes in the penultimate stage (14) and flowing across the pipes in the final stage (16).
