Abstract

The equipment records subscribers/users (7,8) at terminals (5,6) forming part of a telecommunication network (1) offering connection to different terminals and where, on connection to a terminal, the registering unit is activated for identifying the subscriber/user and the circumstances for them using the terminal/network. - Activation of the registering unit occurs via radio connection by means of signal information between a transmitter unit (9,10) free-standing in relation to the terminal and a receiver at the terminal or connectable to it. The registering measures are effected in the telecommunication network dependent upon the signal information received by the receiver unit. With the signal information transmission addition information with regard to altered user situations, e.g. redirection of incoming calls, handling of facsimile messages, etc. is sent.
