Abstract

Building material comprises parallel lying light clinker blocks (1) each having three penetrating hollow regions (8-10) extending between the upper (2) and lower (3) side of the block and running parallel to the long sides (4, 5) of the block. These hollow regions are covered to an appreciable extent from the first long side (4) to the second long side (5). The outermost hollow regions (8, 10) is covered lengthways at the short ends of the block to form rivulets in the short sides (6, 7) of the block.
