Abstract

Guides are provided which accommodate the optical fibres (9) and with dimensions matched to the dias. of the optical fibres, so that a fibre can be pushed into them in its longitudinal direction, maintaining an accurately determined alignment. Positioning and retention components hold a fibre in such a position that its ends extend from them to a guide which accommodates them. The components also move the fibre in its longitudinal direction with its end maintained aligned in the guide. - A rigid retention part (11,17) is provided in which the fibres are retained aligned with the corresp. guide. Two arms (19) are incorporated each of which with its one end is articulated or bendable in connection with two different places on the retention part (11,17) such as at its ends. Its other end is articulatedly or bendably connected with a rigid fixed under part (15,1).
