Abstract

The screening device (15) is for diverting and/or absorbing sound waves. It is shaped to follow the outer contour of the driver's cab of a goods vehicle, and is arranged to cover a significant part of the gap (11) between the cab and the vehicle frame.The screening device has two flanks (17) which join to form a hill-shaped cross section mounted on the vehicle frame (3) for penetration into a recess (16) in the cab. The screening device is removably attached to a mudguard (7) fixed to the vehicle frame and/or to an access step (8) and/or to a bumper (9).
