Abstract
The invention relates to an arrangement for a conveyor track (1) for mutually identical objects (A) of variable sizes. The track (1) comprises a track body (2) and an endless conveyor belt (3), which runs between the ends of the track body (2). The conveyor track (1) has at least two sections (1a, 1b) which form an angle with one another. The objects (A) are transported resting on the advancing part (3a) of the conveyor track (3) and are guided laterally by longitudinal rails (5, 6; 5a, 6a; 5b, 6b) operatively attached to the track body (2). Their mutual distance (d) is adjustable to the size of the objects (A) in order, by so doing, to prevent the occurrence of blockages on the track (3). In an area around the aforementioned angle between the sections of the track (1a, 1b), the rails (5, 6; 5a, 6a; 5b, 6b) are executed with partially overlapping pairs of elements (13a, 13b; 14a, 14b), which form rail curves to either sides of the conveyor track and are capable of moving in relation to one another, so that adjustment of the mutual distance (d) between the rails (5, 6) can also be carried out in areas where two track sections (1a, 1b) form an angle with one another. The elements (13a, 13b; 14a, 14b) are shaped in such a way that they are so arranged, as the value of the angle between the track sections (1a, 1b) varies, as to interact in such a way that the aforementioned mutual distance (d) is maintained, and that they are so arranged, in conjunction with an adjustment of the mutual distance (d), as to interact in order to bring about adaptation of the radii of curvature of the rail curves.
