Abstract

The electrical appts. or a support frame (7) on it is provided with a through hole (8) and the appts. box (1) or a fixture ring (4) in it is provided with a corresp. hole (5). A plate screw (9) is insertable in these holes without turning and a corresp. nut (6) is non-rotatably fixed in the appts. box or its fixed ring (4). An inclined component, in the form of one or more sloping heel formations, works in conjunction with the plate screw head underside and is arranged in the electrical appts. or its support frame with a pitch which exceeds that of the plate screw. The plate screw, already with a turn of less than 180 deg., is activated by a considerable tractive force which effectively locks the union.
