Abstract

The device has a shell in carrying connection with a fastening device (3), having clamping elements (5, 7) provided to encompass a line, freely in one position and to clamp in a second. A carrying vessel (127), carried by a helicopter or crane, carries the fastening device. The shell, in the form of a marking body, remain attached to the line, free from the carrying vessel. Sensors may be provided to indicate the correct position of the fastening device relative to the line or wire for clamping.
