Abstract

Elastomeric satd. nonwoven material comprises (a) fibrous nonwoven web and (b) polymeric material impregnated into the web. A laminate of at least one layer of the above material and at least one other layer is also claimed. Formation of an elastomeric satd. nonwoven material, esp. as above, comprises (1) impregnating a fibrous nonwoven web with a saturant compsn. including a polymeric material distributed throughout the web; (2) densifying to 25-65 lbs/ft.3 and (3) drying or densifying before impregnation. Also claimed is formation of the laminate by bonding at least one layer of material to the elastomeric satd. nonwoven material, and a printing blanket or cushion comprising at least one layer of the above web.
