Abstract

The second table panel (5) has a first arm (7) articulated to it which in turn connects it to the frame (1) and maintains a horizontal direction irrespective of the inclination of the first panel. A second arm (10) is connected to the first at one end nears its connection to the frame and at its other end supports friction-reducing components, such as support rollers (11), which act against the first panel underside. To the second arm is connected a drive unit (13,14) and a driver unit (16) is connected to the first and second arms so that when the second arm via the drive brings the first panel to a specific inclined position with its continued movement the driver couples the first arm to the second.
