Abstract

On the front open side of the bowl-shaped rigid body (10) of the cap is a sprung, compressible sealing ring (15) which can tightly locate against a ring-shaped part around an ear on the head of a user. Fastening components (13) are available by means of which the ear cover can be fitted onto a sprung support stirrup for location in a required position on the head of a user. The body (10) has its front open side formed with at least one support component (17) which extends in the direction of the sealing ring front side and at its front end has a support surface (19) which locates against the head of the user. - The sealing ring (15) is fitted on a separate support ring (12) for the body (10). This support ring is sprung-movable in relation to the body which can be located against the head of a user so that the body can spring back from the support ring. Elastic sealing components (11) are provided for producing a tight union between the body and the support ring (12).
