The wheel spindle consists of a forged axle pin unit (10) with a fixed flange (23) and a cast spindle unit (9) to which the fixed flange is screwed. - Flanges (20) for fixing parts of a brake mechanism, pref. a brake yoke, to a disc brake are cast in one piece with the spindle unit.
