Abstract

The appts. consists of a rod (1) which at one end is provided with two angularly positioned plates (2, 3). A ring (4) is rotatably fixed to a joint (5), and also incorporated are a torsion spring (6), a collecting bag (7), an operating line (8), and a stop component (9). The rod with the sampling appts. is inserted in the fluid with the ring pressed against the one plate (2) with the aid of stop hooks (9), and against the force from springs. When the samping depth is reached, the stop hooks are released with the aid of the operating line (8). At that moment, force from the torsion springs pushes the ring in a circular movement to locate against the other plate (3). In the ring is held open an opening for the collecting bag, and the bag in its starting position is folded together so that it is contained within the ring. When the stop hooks (9) are released and the ring describes its circular movement, the bag unfolds and collects surrounding fluid on its way upwards. When the ring reaches the second of the two plates, the bag is closed, and the whole appts. can be raided with the fluid sample intact.
