Abstract

The invention relates to an implantable catheter for administering liquid drugs. At the distal end 3 of the catheter is arranged a tuft 4 which consists of carbon fibre and which runs essentially in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the catheter. It is expedient if the weight-related fibre surface is greater than 35 m2/g. This design of the distal end 3 rules out accretions at the outlet orifice and therefore interruptions in the administration of the drugs. <IMAGE>
