Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement for a vehicle of the type which comprises on the one hand a pair of driving wheels 1, 2 and on the other hand a steering mechanism 5 for pivoting a pair of steering wheels 3, 4. Associated with the steering mechanism 5 are means 18 for sensing the pivoting angle of the steering wheels and, depending on this, ensuring that the driving wheels 1, 2 are when necessary driven at different speeds, to be precise in such a manner that the driving wheel 1 which during cornering is situated on the outside of the curve is driven at a higher speed than the driving wheel 2 situated on the inside of the curve, for the purpose of imparting to said driving wheels essentially equal tractive forces in spite of the fact that they cover different distances during cornering. <IMAGE>
