Abstract

The device for singling out printed matter from stacks comprises a functional unit formed by a tiltable suction member (2) for suction on one side of the objects, one or more retaining elements (4) functionally connected to the stack, a suction belt (6) adjoining the surface of the stack (1) and a blow air nozzle (7) directed onto the topmost object of the stack (1). The functional elements like the suction and blow air are controlled with accurate beats and time differences for high speed separation. USE/ADVANTAGE - Relative motions between the flat separated articles and the following article on the stack are avoided to prevent smearing.
