Abstract
A solar cell charged vibrating vole deterrent according to the invention is constituted by a tubular construction which is pointed in the lower part and has a solar cell 3 in the top part which, via a charge regulator, charges an accumulator for round-the-clock or night-time working. The tubular construction 1 encloses a chain link 7 which is fastened in a motor, driven by an accumulator. When the link is rotated, it is thrown against indentations made in the tube and receives irregular blows which, via the pendulum at the lower end of the link, are transmitted to that part of the tube which is stuck in the ground for promoting the vibrations over a large radius and keep the vermin away. <IMAGE>
