Abstract
The method of screening solid materials, includes feeding a particulate solid material onto a sifting surface of a screening apparatus, the screening apparatus having a loading zone and a discharge zone. It includes imparting oscillations to the sifting surface under the actions of an effort directed at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the sifting surface, for moving particles of the solid material from the loading zone to the discharge zone and in a direction normal to the sifting surface. It involves moving the particles of the solid materials directly engaging the sifting surface, from the loading zone to the discharge zone, at an acute angle, with respect to a vertical component of the effort.
