Abstract

The system (2) has only two electrically controllable valve arrangements (15, 16) for four split brakes (6, 7, 8, 9) which valve arrangements act on a left-hand or right-hand split brake (6, 8) respectively. Between the other split brakes (7, 9) and a dual-circuit brake pressure source (4), there is a valve arrangement (29), which is controllable by means of pressure medium pressure. This valve arrangement is controlled by a lower of the brake pressures prevailing between the electrically controllable valve arrangements (15, 16) and the first split brakes (6, 8) connected directly to them, in order to adjust the brake pressures in the two second split brakes (7, 9) to this lower brake pressure. <IMAGE>
